Quinton Mills in concert at First Church of the Nazarene

Quinton Mills will be in concert at the First Church of the Nazarene, 1909 Bobo Newsom Hwy., Hartsville, on Sunday, February 9, at 5 p.m. A love offering will be received. Quinton has been singing and preaching for over 35 years. When he first came on the Southern Gospel music scene in the mid 1980’s with the mega hit, “i Found The Lily In My Valley,” there were some who thought he was a “one-hit wonder.” After all these years, he is here to stay. The “Lily” song broke records in Southern Gospel music by remaining on the Singing News charts for 23 months continuously. That record still stands. He has shared the stage with almost every major Gospel artist, including some of the late legends.

He has the amazing ability to hold an audience captive for hours and gives the credit to the Lord and the ability to recognize that he has a gift to connect with people of all ages. Quinton has a unique humorous side. As a child, he wanted to be a comedian and it shows in his concerts as he relates his true childhood stories. He is a Native American, born and raised in the mountains of North Carolina - the youngest son of 12 children. Come and enjoy an evening of songs, stories and testimony from one of Southern Gospel’s giants. For further information, contact Rev. Carey Pratt, 843-409-0889 or 332-2521.
